Just Friends's "Gusher"
I'm gonna be completely honest, I had never heard of "Just Friends" until very recently. I was watching someone play some games on twitch while playing some music videos on the side. One of those music videos happened to belong to Just Friends, a few days later, some of their music ended up in whatever Spotify was suggesting to me this week and I figured why not give them a listen. Not even a week after discovering the band I ordered their discography.
To put how quickly I fell in love with this band into perspective. I first saw the music video for "Life I'm Living In" on the evening of April 9th, and their discography was on my doorstep on the 20th.
This album is a real treat. With 90's-esque vibes, and plenty of funk, punk, and some hot lyrics, "Gusher" is a fun celebration of what makes life worth living in.
"Gusher" is the band's fourth studio album. It's such an easy and fun listen that you can toss it on whenever and ride the vibes.
