Lawrence's "Family Business"

"Lawrence" is one of those bands that I discovered back in 2021 or so. As a native New Yorker and Long Islander, I really got into Jon Bellion's stuff back in 2019. Picking up some of his songs that have always been on rotation, I saw that he had a new single out with a band called "Lawrence". Naturally, I took a listen and instantly fell in love with the band.

"Hotel TV" came out on the same day and it's such a fun album. "Retro Pop" is the term thrown around for this genre and it's such a wonderful thing to put on when you're making Sunday breakfast. Every track on this record is a banger and "Don't Lose Sight" is one of the most fun tracks you'll hear.

"Family Business" is more of the same, but that's not a bad thing. It's a wonderful record that I've only listed to a couple of times so far, but it's gonna be on repeat for a while. "Family Business" is the band's fourth studio album and they're only getting better.
